The MW-2-HS™ Magnetic One Finger Reversible Ratchet Knob™ is a cutting-edge tool engineered to streamline tasks both in the workshop and on the job site. The MW-2-HS™ is designed for smaller head ratchets. For larger head “high-torque” models, the MW-1™ may be a better choice.

Made specifically for Milwaukee high-speed ratchets, the MW-2-HS was developed after we had a few users write in with an oscillation-related issue when using the MW-2 knob with high-speed ratchets. This oscillation caused the knob to actuate the directional change mechanism, unintentionally switching the ratchet from one direction to another.

The addition of the o-rings provides two advantages:

1: The o-rings act as a damper between the knob and the head of the ratchet, eliminating the oscillation mentioned above, and providing seamless use with high-speed ratchets.

2: Working alongside two N52 neodymium magnets, the o-rings provide a friction fit in the head meaning the MW-2-HS is rock solid when you attach it to your ratchet.

You don't need any additional tools, just slide the MW-2-HS™ onto your existing ratchet and that's it! To ensure solid contact, please make sure your ratchet head is clear any dirt or debris.

Care: Your MW-2-HS will come with silicone lubricant on the O-rings. If you experience any friction or resistance from the O-rings, add a drop of oil or grease to encourage ease of rotation of the knob in the head of the ratchet. If the O-rings break or increased oscillation occurs, you can replace the O-rings using one of our O-ring service kits, that include the required components.
