We are thrilled to share some exciting updates regarding our Ratchet Knob™ product line. We've been hard at work behind the scenes, listening to your feedback and striving to improve our products to better serve your needs. Today, we're pleased to announce a series of enhancements and a significant milestone in our journey.
Made in the USA
One of our proudest announcements is that all Ratchet Knobs™ are now fully manufactured in the United States! After our initial launch, we listened to the response of the market and decided that we needed to make a change.
From the machining to the anodizing, the assembly, and even the packaging; Ratchet Knobs are USA, through and through.

Product Enhancements
Based on your valuable feedback and our commitment to quality, we have implemented several enhancements to our Ratchet Knob™ line. We have upgraded our magnets so that they are much stronger. Previously we used an N35 magnet. We now use N52 neodymium magnets which are 30% stronger.
We’ve made some changes to our Snap-on line too. The SNP-1™ for 3/8” ratchets is now boot-compatible. Added to the line is the SNP-2™ which is for 1/4” Snap-on ratchets. These upgrades are designed to elevate your experience with Ratchet Knob™, ensuring reliability and performance in every use.
The SNP-1™ Magnetic One Finger Reversible Ratchet Knob™, made for Snap-on ratchets, is a cutting-edge tool engineered to streamline your tasks both in the workshop and on the job site. It’s ergonomically designed and boot-compatible.
Compatibility:Guaranteed to fit Snap-On CTR762, CTR767, CTR768, CTR861, CTR867, CTR868, CTR861G, CTR862, CTR716A, CTR761C 3/8” drive ratchets and CTR725A 1/4” drive ratchets.

Introducing Our NEW High-Speed Ratchet Knob™ for Milwaukee Ratchets
We are excited to introduce the MW-2 HS™! This Ratchet Knob™ features two O-rings that wrap around the drive lugs that interact with the ratchet itself. This dampens the oscillating action that some of you have experienced. The O-rings are easy to replace. You’ll just need a silicone-based grease/oil and 1.0mm(CS)x9.5mm(ID) NBR 70a O-rings or you can purchase an O-ring service kit from us.
The MW-2-HS™ Magnetic One Finger Reversible Ratchet Knob™ is a cutting-edge tool engineered to streamline tasks both in the workshop and on the job site. The MW-2-HS™ is designed for smaller head ratchets. For larger head “high-torque” models, the MW-1™ may be a better choice.
Made specifically for Milwaukee high-speed ratchets, the MW-2-HS was developed after we had a few users write in with an oscillation-related issue when using the MW-2 knob with high-speed ratchets. This oscillation caused the knob to actuate the directional change mechanism, unintentionally switching the ratchet from one direction to another.
The addition of the o-rings provides two advantages:
1: The o-rings act as a damper between the knob and the head of the ratchet, eliminating the oscillation mentioned above, and providing seamless use with high-speed ratchets.
2: Working alongside two N52 neodymium magnets, the o-rings provide a friction fit in the head meaning the MW-2-HS is rock solid when you attach it to your ratchet.

O-ring Friction Fit: The addition of two carefully sized O-rings provides a damping action and friction fit in the head of the ratchet, making this the most solidly secured ratchet knob there is
Magnetic Feature: The magnetic design features two N52 neodymium magnets and securely holds the knob to the ratchet, enabling you to work with enhanced speed and precision.
One-Finger Operation: The direction of the Ratchet Knob™ can be reversed effortlessly using just one finger, promoting efficiency.
Glove friendly: Improves the user's control over the directional switch, allowing for much effective operation when wearing gloves.
You don't need any additional tools, just slide the MW-2-HS™ onto your existing ratchet and that's it! To ensure solid contact, please make sure your ratchet head is clear any dirt or debris.
Care: Your MW-2-HS will come with silicone lubricant on the O-rings. If you experience any friction or resistance from the O-rings, add a drop of oil or grease to encourage ease of rotation of the knob in the head of the ratchet. If the O-rings break or increased oscillation occurs, you can replace the O-rings using one of our O-ring service kits, that include the required components.

The HS adaptation of the Ratchet Knob™ is a significant improvement over the standard MW-2. We have found, however, that users with XC or High-output batteries may still experience minor directional switching with fully charged batteries and heavy anvil load

Ensure optimal performance of your high-speed Ratchet Knob™ with our O-ring Service Kit! Our high speed model is designed with O-rings. Over time the O-rings may break or you may experience an increase in oscillation. When that happens, it’s time to replace the O-rings.
The service kit includes a silicone-based grease/oil and 10 O-rings which will allow you to service your high speed Ratchet Knob™ up to 5 times.
To change O-rings:
Use a pick to remove old o-rings.
Pre-lubricate new o-rings with provided silicone grease prior to installation.
Starting at the corner, hold the o-ring in the groove and slide over the face of the lug until it fully seats into position.
Repeat for the second side.
If you feel it necessary at this stage, another application of grease to the outside of the o-ring is acceptable.
Done! Continue to enjoy the use of your high-speed Knob.
